Street Lines – 2026 Cadillac LyriqV Premium
Dec 04, 2025
After attending a gathering with a local automotive media club here in Atlanta, a person who owned Cadillac’s 2025 Lyriq couldn’t stop giving it accolades, so I couldn’t wait to see for myself. Well, the time had come and she was not overselling this all-electric luxury SUV. The only tw
ist was that I reviewed the all-new 2026 Lyriq-V version, which is the first of its kind and a major upgrade in especially the performance category, so I was even more excited. And yes, the new Lyriq V didn’t disappoint.

CCadillac boasts the 2026 Lyriq-V Premium as the most responsive Cadillac to date, and the dual motors flexing 615 horsepower resulting in hitting a jaw-dropping 60-mph of 3.3 seconds and 650 lb.-ft. in its signature VELOCITY MAX Mode coupled with Launch Control justifies it. And although it’s a zero-emissions vehicle, the E-Rev provides a growl to mimic the gas guzzlers of yesteryear.
The exterior designers did a stellar job of complementing the muscle visually. My review version was dressed in a highly recommended Emerald Lake Metallic—the closest to black you can get and still reflect a hue of green—along with a painted black roof; Brembo brakes in the front; 22-inch reverse-rim wheels with the V-Series logo etched with laser encased in low-profile summer tires; illuminated door handles; and choreographed LED headlamps and taillamps; and an overall muscular frame to provide more eye candy. In a nutshell, the Lyriq-V has a sinister look that I appreciate.
Cadillac’s focus on interior craftsmanship is also evident. Upon entrance, I am welcomed by the genuine open-pore wood trim and panoramic dual-panel sunroof. The pampering sitting experience includes Nappa leather appointed front and second-row seating; heated and ventilated front seats with massage and power bolsters; heated second-row outboard seats; and tri-zone climate control to keep everyone cozy.

On the tech side, a sonically premium 23-speaker AKG audio system with Dolby Atmos, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, built-in Google infotainment, augmented-reality head-up display, a rear camera mirror with washer, and wireless device charging all coming standard. There are also numerous driving modes to customize the driving feel, including V-Mode, Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice and My Mode. On long trips, the Super Cruise hands-free driving option makes any excursion a consideration regardless of distance. Whether you use it or not, the ride is responsive, smooth, and aggressive whenever desired.

With all the power, the LYRIQ-V averages 80 MPGe resulting in a range is about 285 miles, but thanks to of the North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapter, owners have access to more than 23,500 Tesla Superchargers for a quick charge anywhere in the US. Besides the appreciated OnStar application, Cadillac backs the battery with an eight-year/100,000-mile limited warranty, on top of a 4-year/50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty to further ease the mind.
Altogether, the list of amenities and safety features is lengthy, so I strongly recommend a visit to the website for a complete breakdown of all the Lyriq-V provides. Just know that Cadillac really flaunted their dedication to influencing the future in the automotive industry. Thisluxurious all-electric SUV proves it emphatically.
Fuel Economy via MPGe: 87 city/72 highway/80 combined; 285-mile range
