The Menu
This family-frien
dly, casual Italian eatery is just the place to go when looking for some good Italian food. You will find your favorite Italian dishes like Spaghetti Meatballs, Lasagna, or Chicken Cacciatore, but they will be more flavorful than Italian food elsewhere. That is unless you have a Nonna from Sicily cooking for you at home.
CHICKEN CACCIATORE
At The Sicilian Butcher, the food is made with Sicilian soul. You will notice the difference the moment their food meets your taste buds. From the house pasta, which is made fresh daily, to the red sauce made with San Marzano tomatoes, I found everything here is a class act!
NONNA’S BAKED CANNELLONI
Some dishes you don’t usually see in other Italian restaurants are the Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms, Italian Saganaki – an imported Kefalotyri cheese, flambeed tableside and served with lemon grilled ciabatta. Also, a must try on the Antipasti menu was the Shrimp Calamari with potatoes in a spicy ‘nduja served with grilled ciabatta bread. If you love spicy food, you will devour this!
Craft Your Own Spaghetti Meatballs
Feel free to craft your own spaghetti dish by picking your choice of meatballs, sauce and pasta for a taste all its own.
MEATBALL FERRIS WHEEL
Signature family favorites are the 5-foot Charcuterie Board, Meatball Ferris Wheel -one of each craft meatball with selected sauce (6 large meatballs in all) to be shared or not! All on a Ferris Wheel.
5 FOOT CHARCUTERIE BOARD
Speaking of sharing, every dish is large enough for two. But a great deal is to order two entrees, splitting them and taking the rest home. You will be so glad you did this when tomorrow rolls around!
The Sicilian Baker
The Sicilian Baker is also connected to The Sicilian Butcher, so you will not leave without peeking in. You should try a handmade dessert with regular or specialty coffee. I loved the NY Cheesecake with Caramel Sauce, but next trip I am going for a Napoleon pastry, a childhood favorite.
Cheesecake with Caramel Sauce
The Italian Wedding Cookies and the Iced Almond Cookies are a nice lite finish with coffee too, if you can’t eat a big dessert. But I bet you get a box of mixed Italian cookies to take with you too.
Cannoli is a signature dessert with a traditional filling. Or fill the shell with one of their many gelato flavors!
You will not leave The Sicilian Butcher hungry! Or thirsty!

Drinks
They offer a nice selection of craft cocktails. I tried The Sicilino, mix of bourbon + amaro + faretti biscotti liqueur + orange bitters + charred + white oak. Excellent! At the end of my meal a had an Aperol to settle my stomach after a big dinner.
APEROL
Be sure to breeze the wine menu for a nice selection to compliment your meal.
The restaurant has plenty of seating in an open area, or you can sit at the bar. They also offer outdoor seating when weather permits.
I loved being treated like family from the time we walked in until we left. All the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and stayed to talk with us and explain the menu and the restaurant story. Kudos to Kristin for taking such good care of us.
Lunch Special
Tired of shopping? Stop in for a nice 3-course lunch from 11AM to 3PM which ends with a scoop of gelato. Now go home and kick your feet up.
Parking
Another bonus, there is ample parking and the restaurant is handicap compliant!
I invite you to give them a try and be welcomed into their family.
**Full Disclosure: I received a meal in exchange for my review, but not to worry, all opinions are 100% mine.
