A 2-year-old drowned on Nov. 28 after the child was found in a small water body in Charleston, according to the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office.  Sheriff’s Office deputies and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and began life-saving measures upon arrival. The child was flown to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City to receive care, but the child died in the early hours of Nov. 29.  The investigation is active and ongoing. Wasatch County Sheriff Jared Rigby released a statement about the incident on Wednesday.  “This is an unimaginable loss for this family; our hearts are with them in this difficult time and moving forward,” Rigby said. “While this tragedy is felt deeply throughout the community and by our first responders, our focus remains on the family.
