PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Multiple police departments announced charges stemming from 18 robberies throughout Rhode Island over the last six years. According to Providence Police Department Chief Oscar Perez, Khivory Alston, 37, confessed to committing or attempting to commit the 18 robberies thr oughout the state. The joint investigation was a collaborative effort tracking the robberies in Providence, Cranston, Pawtucket, Woonsocket and Johnston between 2019 and 2015.
