PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Multiple police departments will announce charges stemming from 18 robberies throughout Rhode Island over the last six years. According to the Providence Police Department, Chief Oscar Perez will make the announcement at the Providence Public Safety Complex Thursday at n oon. The joint investigation was a collaborative effort tracking robberies in Providence, Cranston, Pawtucket, Woonsocket and Johnston between 2019 and 2015.
