MAPS 4 reveals first look at new Multipurpose Stadium design
Dec 03, 2025
The City of Oklahoma City has released the first look at the $121 million MAPS 4 Multipurpose Stadium, planned as the centerpiece of a future sports and entertainment district south of Bricktown. The updated design was presented Wednesday during the MAPS 4 Venues Subcommittee meeting.
Mayor Davi
d Holt noted that OKC’s long-term investment in sports facilities has consistently delivered economic and community benefits, calling the new stadium design “a vision the city can be proud of.” He pointed to MAPS 4 funding, TIF support and the recent voter-approved bond issue as critical to moving the project forward.
The nine-acre site—donated by Echo Investment Capital—will host a venue inspired by Oklahoma’s natural landscape, opening on its north side to downtown views. Plans include a lightweight canopy roof, a dynamic fabric façade with programmable LED lighting, and seating for more than 10,000 fans, most of it covered. The stadium, designed by Populous, will feature a USSF-approved field, club spaces, locker rooms, a supporters’ section and suites.

Echo, the majority owner of OKC’s professional soccer club, will operate the venue, which is expected to host both women’s and men’s soccer along with other field sports and concerts. The company also plans to partner with Robinson Park to develop the surrounding area into a walkable, sports-focused entertainment district.
Leaders involved in the project say the new stadium is intended to serve as a community anchor and economic catalyst.
